Course Convenor

Anton Schlechter

Professor of Organisational Psychology, UCT

With 20 years of academia and business experience, Professor Schlechter is an expert in the fields of reward management, talent management, HR analytics, performance management, and employee engagement. As a registered industrial psychologist and a fellow and honorary life member of the Society for Industrial and Organisational Psychology in South Africa, Schlechter has authored various peer-reviewed articles, written several book chapters, and published articles in the popular press. He previously worked in the Organisational Development and Training Department at Media24 before joining Stellenbosch University’s Department of Industrial Psychology as a full-time academic from 2002 to 2005. In 2006, Schlechter joined the School of Management Studies at UCT.
