Course curriculum

Over the duration of this online short course, you'll work through the following modules:

Module 1

Discover the different environments in which a business systems analyst operates, their role, and more.

Module 2

Complete the first two of four enterprise analysis activities.

Module 3

Discover the importance of a feasibility analysis in selecting an alternate solution.

Module 4

Learn about the important but often overlooked activity of requirements elicitation.

Module 5

Introducing the business requirements specification document.

Tanner's research agenda explores software development (SD) from various perspectives, including project management, software engineering, team collaboration and management, the SD context, end-user perspectives, the impact of software solutions on people, as well as how to disseminate SD-related knowledge. Her research contributions are highly relevant to both practitioners and academia. Through in-depth case studies, Tanner employs the latest SD techniques to deliver quality software that makes a valuable impact on business and society.
