Andrew Baum
Emeritus Professor, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford
Andrew is the expert on real estate at Saïd Business School. He teaches this as an elective on the Oxford MBA and Executive MBA, and leads the School’s global executive education programmes on the subject. Andrew’s research focus is on real estate investment and innovation, and he leads the Oxford Future of Real Estate Initiative, producing groundbreaking reports such as ‘PropTech 3.0: The future of real estate’.
A qualified member of the RICS and the CFA Institute, Andrew has authored several textbooks and over 50 refereed journal publications and book chapters. He received the UK PropTech Association Special Achievement Award in 2019. He launched and successfully exited three start-ups, has held senior positions with Prudential, Nuveen, CBRE Global Investors, Grosvenor and others, and is now advisor to several property businesses.
