Learn from MIT Sloan Faculty advising world-class organizations on AI strategy

Identify the right AI investments and prove measurable business impact

Join 40,000+ leaders who have already leveled up their AI expertise at MIT

On completion of this program, you’ll walk away with:

1

Four board-ready deliverables built for your business: a strategic AI roadmap identifying your highest-yield opportunities; an AI adoption playbook to capitalize on the strengths of human and artificial intelligence; a risk and governance framework for responsible scaling; and an agentic AI pilot blueprint ready for implementation.

2

A global network of fellow senior leaders to share best practices, discuss successes and failures, and build lasting professional relationships — part of a 40,000+ community advancing responsible AI adoption.

3

The strategic frameworks to evaluate, deploy, and optimize autonomous AI agents that operate responsibly at scale within your organization.

4

The confidence to lead organizational change by understanding how to harness the power of the human–AI collaboration, unite teams across silos, and govern AI responsibly.

This course is for you if you want to:

  • Make strategic AI investment decisions — Develop a practical valuation toolkit and capability matrix to identify your highest-yield opportunities, and track the commercial performance that matters.

  • Lead your organization through a complete AI transformation — From fluency through adoption and into agentic AI governance, embed AI strategically across your organization to drive measurable, meaningful impact.

  • Build your credibility as an AI decision-maker — Gain the frameworks, business acumen, and authority to evaluate emerging technologies, sponsor high-stakes initiatives, and steer your organization forward with confidence.

Understand AI. Scale strategically. Govern responsibly.

Organizations are deploying individual AI tools and scattershot tactics without a coherent strategy — but even the leaders who know it’s not effective aren’t sure how to change it. Unlike programs that isolate the phases of AI adoption — fluency, implementation, and governance — this program sequences all three into one continuous leadership credential, with an emphasis on autonomous systems governance. No coding required.

Developed across the combined ecosystem of the MIT Sloan School of Management, MIT Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), and MIT Schwarzman College of Computing, this comprehensive online program will prepare you to drive the next phase of AI adoption and transformation with the judgement, cohesion, and clarity the moment demands.

This program is designed for senior decision-makers who need to identify where AI belongs in their organization and where it does not, and then harness its full potential ethically, securely, and at scale. You’ll walk away with four board-ready deliverables — including a strategic AI roadmap and agentic AI pilot blueprint — grounded in your actual business data and structure. You’ll learn to lead with the confidence and authority to build organizations that don’t just keep pace with AI, but use it to maximize their performance and gain a competitive advantage.
