Dr Robin Grebing

Associate Professor of Higher Education Leadership

Robin Grebing, BSEd, MBA, EdD, is an assistant professor of higher education leadership. Dr Grebing has over twelve years of administrative experience at 2- and 4-year institutions of higher learning. Dr Grebing has been a change agent across many roles, introducing retention planning, an intrusive advising model she calls “flipped advising” and course development processes. Additionally, she supervised the planning and implementation of a community portal and migration to cloud services for the learning management system.

Dr Jason Castles

Director of the Higher Education Leadership Program/Associate Professor of Higher Education Leadership

Jason Castles, EdD, specializes in a number of areas related to higher education leadership, including theory, research, frameworks and intercultural competence. Prior to Maryville University, Dr Castles taught part time in another doctoral program for five years and worked for 14 years in various areas of higher education. Dr Castles has served at a large, public university; large, private university; mid-size, public university; mid-size, private university; and small, private university.
